Synchronizing transfers data between the Connect and Payroll Modules so that each system has up-to-date information.
First Sychronization
The first synchronization is usually done after setting up the parameters for the Connect Module in the Payroll Module and in the Connect Module before employees start to process applications.
Subsequent synchronizations
Subsequent synchronizations may be done any number of times during a period, but also immediately before finalizing a payroll period, or after doing a calculation routine in any new period (since leave balances will now include the leave accrual for the current period).
