Process - Housing Benefit

In order to process a housing benefit the Transaction Code should be set up first and then processed as with any other transaction.

To set up the Housing Benefit:

- Create a new transaction code for the Housing benefit

VALUATION OF THE BENEFIT

The benefit is based on the value to the employee, which is usually the market value of the accommodation.   The value could, however, be less where the employee is forced by work circumstances to stay in a house above his/her standard.
