The shift rotation system used by the Belina Time Control Module is centered on the setup of 'Shifts' (possibly using 'Slots') and 'Rotations'.
Each day worked is a Shift. That shift may, or may not, be made up of time 'Slots'. The Shifts are then strung together into a Rotation.
One of the examples given in the Belina User manual is for an organization whose administration department works a 5.5 day working week where Monday to Thursdays are worked from 8 to 5 with different clocking out times on the Friday and Saturday.
Slots
If the employees are to clock in and out for breaks during the day, including lunch use 'Slots'.
For more information see the heading 'Slots'
Shifts
'Slots' are used to build up to create a shift. In the example, above, the Monday to Thursday slots are put together to form the Monday - Thursday Shift Administration Shift.
Rotations
The shift, in the example above would then be put into a Shift Rotation together with other shifts.
For more information about 'Rotations' see 'Setup - Step 9 - Rotations'.
