2 Setup - Step 09 - Rotations

Modified on Wed, 17 May, 2023 at 8:52 AM

The shift rotation system used by the Belina Time Control Module is centered on the setup of 'Shifts' (possibly using 'Slots') and 'Rotations'.

Each day worked is a Shift.  That shift may, or may not, be made up of time 'Slots'.  The Shifts are then strung together into a Rotation.

One of the examples given in the Belina User manual is for an organization whose administration department works a 5.5 day working week where Monday to Thursdays are worked from 8 to 5 with different clocking out times on  the Friday and Saturday.

Slots

For more information about using 'Slots' see FAQ topic : 'Setup - Step 7 - Slots'

Shifts

For more information about 'Shifts' see FAQ Topic 'Setup - Step 8 - Shifts'.

Rotations

In the example, above, the shifts setup for Monday to Thursday, for Friday and for Saturday are put into a Shift Rotation.

For more information about how to allocate 'Rotations' to employees see FAQ Topic '4 Setup - Step 10 - Allocate Rotations to employees'.
