Bank Account Types

Some banks need to differentiate between Current and Savings accounts when transfer files are sent to them.


To set up the different bank account types:

- Go to the 'Edit', 'Banks', then 'Account Types' menu options

- Press 'Insert' to add a new account type

- Enter the name of the bank type 

- Enter the code eg. 01 (Current Account) 02 (Savings)


Then, to allocate the account type to an employee's bank account:

- Go to the 'Edit', then 'Employee Master' menu options

- Select the Employee from the table

- Go to the 'Pay Details' Tab

- Press the Ellipse [ . . . ] button against 'Bank Details'

- Select the Payment being paid, Press 'Change' 

- Select the 'Account Type' from the dropdown menu.


This information is included in the bank transfer file when the data is sent to the bank through the EDI bank transfer option.
