Rate Change - Few Employees
There are a number of ways of increasing pay rates. The easiest way of increasing the pay rate for an individual is normally done by changing the rate in the Employee Master.
To change the Basic Pay in the 'Employee Master':
- Go to 'Edit' then 'Employee Master' menu options
- Select the 'Pay' Tab
- If 'Base Rate On' is set to 'Employee Master' then change 'Rate of Pay' to the new figure
Note: This method is not appropriate if the Basic Pay is determined by the NEC or Internal Grade rate.

Rate Change - Many Employees
To change the rate of pay for a number of employees it can be done by:
- Doing the changes, one at a time, in the employee master
- Using the Pay Increase Module
- Importing revised pay rates by spreadsheet
- Changing grade rates (if they are being used)
