Approval Path - What happens if an approver is not available/ delays to deal with the application

If an application has not been approved, by a reviewer or approver, within a reasonable time, the system will then automatically send the application to the First 'Alternative 1' and then Second 'Alternative 2' reviewer or approver.

There is an algorithm in the system that automatically computes when the application should be sent to an Alternative Reviewer.
