This is a taxable amount that is paid for the number of shifts worked. The value is calculated as a percentage of the hourly rate multiplied by the number of shifts worked.
When processing, enter the number of shifts to be paid. An additional facility has been included to enable the processing of the transaction with differing narrations including:
- Amount
- Days
- Hours
- Kilometers
- Miles
- Morning Shift
- Afternoon Shift
- Years
In order to process a shift allowance it is first necessary to create a Transaction Code to handle the transaction and then to process the transaction.
- To create the Transaction Code see the topic heading 'Allowance - Shift' under Transaction Codes to setup the Shift Allowance
- Then to process the value of the transaction see topic heading 'Allowances' to process the Shift Allowance
