Journal - Out of Balance

The Transactions Journal after running a Calculation Routine should always be in balance.  If the journal is out of balance the first step is to run or re-run the Calculation Routine to ensure that all transactions have been included in the computations.  An example Transactions Journal can be seen on this link.


If the journal is still out of balance then:

- Go to the 'View' then 'Payslips', then 'Payslips Summary' menu options

- On the right-hand side of the screen under 'View' select 'Unbalanced' on the drop-down menu

- Print/ View the report


The report will show all the employee payslips that are not in balance.  This situation is rare.  Take a backup of the data and send it to Belina together with the report for analysis.
