ZIMRA require employers to calculate and remit PAYE amounts deducted from employees each month. At the end of the year employers are to reconcile the amount of PAYE remitted each month to the total amount that should have been deducted for the year. This would be done taking into account the total income, deductions, and credits to which the employee is entitled.
