Reports - Filing

Regulation dictates that seven (7) years of payroll records need to be available to ZIMRA for audit.  For security reasons these records should be in PDF format.  Information on a PDF report is difficult to change.  


We suggest you keep (as computer files or as physical printouts) the following:


- Payslips (or Payslip Summary)

- Period Journal report

- Payroll Detail with detailed transaction listing per employee

- Payments reports especially the Bank Transfer report

- Third Parties reports like NEC, Pension, Trade Union and Medical Aid reports

- Leave detail report 

- TaRMS report (or PAYE report) that includes all employees (current and previous) including those that may not have paid PAYE.


These reports can be printed every period or for a range of periods.
