Tax - PAYE - Payments

Modified on Thu, 9 Mar, 2023 at 10:47 AM

Any employer who deducts PAYE from the employee's remuneration is expected to remit the amount to ZIMRA on or before the 10th of the following month.

All payments should be done on time through banks in the currency in which remuneration was earned, received or accrued.

A 100% penalty fee is payable for late payment.

Payment is to be made into the ZIMRA bank accounts or in cash at their offices.  ZIMRA have various accounts, one for each currency type, into which foreign currency amounts may be paid.

PAYE amounts may be paid through all commercial banks using:

- the ZIMRA-Econet Ownai platform or through

-  the ZIMRA-Netone One Money platform.

Make use of the digital platforms at the following banks to settle your ZIMRA obligations:

Agribank, BancABC, CABS, CBZ Bank, Ecobank,  FBC Bank, First Capital Bank, Nedbank, NMB Bank, Stanbic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, ZB Bank

Contact ZIMRA for more information.
