Import - Employee Master Details

Modified on Mon, 11 Mar at 4:00 PM

Data to be imported into Employee Master should first be put into spreadsheet format.  For further information on what data can be imported, the format in which the data should be put and how to proceed with the data import see this link.

The steps required in order to do the import are to:

Step 1 - Export the Employee Master data from the existing payroll system to Excel Spreadsheet,

Step 2 -  Put the data exported into the format required for import, or manually put the information into a spreadsheet in the format required.

- Making sure that the first row only contains headings

- The first column should always contain the Employee Code

- Values should be entered as numeric values but Codes, that may appear to be numeric in nature, should be entered as text e.g. Department Code.

Step 3 - Save the file so that it can be accessed by Belina PayrollHR.

Step 4 - Go to the 'Utilitities', 'Imports', then 'Microsoft Excel' menu options and so the import.
