There are a number of National Employment Councils representing the interests of employees working under different industry sectors. Deductions are made from each employee as a percentage of basic and the employer also contributes a percentage.
The NEC contributions are not linked to the NEC grade rates that have been setup under the 'Edit' menu.
The steps required to process NEC contributions:
Step 1 - Create NEC Transaction Code see the heading ' Dedunction - NEC' under this link.
Step 2 - Process the transaction onto each employees Payslip Input. See the heading 'NEC' under this link.
Step 3 - There are a number of reports that detail the NEC contributions that have been calculated. There are also dedicated reports for some of the NEC's.
