Transaction Codes - Regular/ Irregular

Modified on Mon, 18 Mar at 9:20 AM

The difference between a 'Regular' and an 'Irregular' Transaction Code is in the projection of income in FDS Tax calculation.

REGULAR

'Regular' Transaction Codes are projected in the FDS tax projection of income.

IRREGULAR

The value of 'Irregular' Transaction Codes are simply added to the total income for the year and not projected in the calculation of Taxable Income.

Setup Transaction Codes as 'Irregular' if the transaction only comes through from time to time.  E.g. Acting Allowance, Overtime, production bonus.

See this link for further information about the projection of regular income and the simple inclusion of irregular income in calculating the total anticipated Taxable income for the year for FDS purposes.
